Where should puppy sleep?

For those who have their dog sleep in a crate at night, do you put toys in the crate even at night? Or do you only have toys in crate during the day if you have to crate?

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. For overnight I often don't, because I get up early enough that he's usually still sleeping/just waking up so I know he hasn't been bored, but sometimes I throw his Kong in at bedtime (always the Kong...his other toys all have squeakers! Lol.)

But almost always yes if he's crated during the day with no one home, usually his Kong and/or a squeaky to keep him occupied.

Your puppy looks gorgeous! all tiny puppies sleep a lot, make the most of it and enjoy her as a baby, my six month old doesn't sleep at all! (except at night) believe me you will soon be run ragged!! lol.

Hi everyone, just got a new puppy and she always wants to sleep!!

Some puppies sleep up to 18 or 20 hours a day. It's very normal. To be honest, at this stage, I love her best when she's asleep.
