hey everyone, I’m sort of at a loss and not sure what to do. A new lab/dachshund puppy owner, my lady and I adopted him from the humane society October 20th and he was born the end of July, they weren’t to positive when. I’ve been watching videos and doing research on how to potty train but nothing has been seeming to work. After hes done drinking water I’ll wait about 10 minutes to take him out and nothing, but when he get back inside he goes potty. For the most part he’s been doing it on potty pads or his little pillows so not to bad. I watched a video to keep him in a small kennel when I’m not having an eye on him or when he goes to sleep and just pay attention to when he’s being restless or just struggling and I’ll take him outside and nothing. He’s gone a couple of times but the past 2 days it’s only been inside. Is he to young for this or does is take longer than im expecting for him to be potty trained? Anything would be helpful, his name is Oscar btw.
