New UK mini dax owner

Hi, im 23 and just bought a mini dax. I'm totally new to owning a dog, we have a family dog which is a toy poodle about 9 years old but he's my moms really, so I don't know much about raising a puppy so ill be asking for plant of advice I imagine.
