Help! Can’t decide!!!

I’m trying to decide which puppy to adopt. They are mini dachshund-shihtzu mixes. The bigger fluffy one is the female and the tiny one is the male. The female is more confident, bigger chewer, bigger eater. She is also more independent and doesn’t seem to mind being in her crate that much. The male is significantly smaller, has longer legs and a more proportionate build. He was the runt. He cries when he is in his crate. He loves to cuddle and be held. He barks when he plays. He is more timid and sometimes doesn’t come when called. Also he sometimes growls when picked up from sleeping.

What do you think?

I like the bigger fluffier girl. That doesn’t seem like a good sign that the male growls when being handled. The girl is cuter and looks healthier. Best of luck with whoever you choose .

I agree with get both! I only 2 dogs at present which is a low number for me. I find 2 to be easier than one because they do tend to entertain themselves more.
