Hello, I'm Frankie

I just adopted a 3 yr old Standard Dachshund from "Dachshund Paws & Pals" in Hesperia California. He's adapting really fast to his new home, and will be staying inside with doggie door access to a secure backyard. Wish me and this handsome hound good luck on our first night.

Frankie is doing really well. He's on a regular morning and evening feeding, taking a walk once a day, not peeing inside the house, sleeping/being quiet during my bedtime schedule 10pm to 6:30am, and no destructive behavior. He's quite barky when someone comes to my front door, which I'm trying to squelch for those he should remember. Over all, I'm really happy getting this loveable 3 yr old hound.

Congrats on Frankie (love the name) doing so well. I've rarely had a dachshund (and I've had about12!) who wasn't barky at the door or at my house the low front windows. It's a constant battle.
