I recently noticed my cat showing interest in some plain, cooked edamame that I was eating, and it made me wonder if anyone else has experienced this. Do your cats eat edamame, and if so, do they actually enjoy it?

I know cats are obligate carnivores, so I'm curious whether edamame is considered safe as an occasional treat or if it's something that should be avoided altogether.

Have you asked your veterinarian about it, or noticed any digestive issues after your cat tried it?
