1.5 week old purebred dashchund puppy

Is the a way to know if this puppy will have long or short hair? Mom is short haired and father is long haired.

Fur looks pretty long,so my guess is long haired.My smooth pups at this age didn't have such long fur.

Could go either way I have had short hairs with hair like that. Won't be certain until it get gets older
