That's where I'm having trouble :( I don't live in a very big city, and there's only a few classes offered and they mostly use traditional dog training, which I am very opposed to (Nola is trained with sticky positive reinforcement and clicker training)-no offense meant to anyone.
I'm seriously considering taking the Canine Good Citizen test with Nola next month. My only hesitation is "supervised separation". While she doesn't have separation anxiety, she's very attached to me and I'm not sure how'd she'd do when left with a stranger. Can anyone give me advice on this? Or...
Once or twice a month and we use te clipper/scissors looking type. The only person who can cut Nola's nails is my mom, no one else. Not me, BF, her vet only her "grandma" :D
Doxmom, I feed homemade (not raw) because of Nola's allergies and the eggshell provides calcium. I have chickens so I'll either feed her a whole egg or put the shells in the fridge during the week and grind them up once or twice a week.
It's Nola's second birthday (tomorrow, but I'll be busy so I thought I'd post today:))! She's been incredible! She's so smart and knows so many commands and tricks, and is the light of my life. Here she is then and now
By climbing to the top of my pillows (and I use A LOT of pillows, it's virtually a mountain.) and launching herself onto my chest:rolleyes: Good thing she's only 8lbs!
