My advice if you have any concerns would be to contact a vet for a quick check over.
My puppy wasn't & still isn't particularly interested in food. As this is my first small dog maybe their appetite aren't as greedy & as my Beagle & Dalmations of the past
I don't know if this...
I am still not sure what the reason was, but as soon as Buzz passed away Bernie stopped doing it...He never did it with other dogs poop.
He now uses the side garden only :) Now finally fully house trained as well....only took until his 1st birthday. Never had a dog that took soo long
Sorry I am not going to be any help, as my 1 yr old, is still not completely dry.
If I crate him at night he is fine, but for the last 2 weeks I have left him out of the crate and he is back to pooping EVERY morning  Now we have some fine weather the back door can be left open and we...
Susan I haven't any idea why he should be doing this, but could he be slightly nervous out in the open and not on his home territory and knows you will look after him...
I think I would give him a firm no! Hopefully he will stop!
I remember my Beagle, Bertie did this to a stranger who...

Bernie is now very nearly one and likes to please :)
I found this listed on Dachshunds in London 's website
The official dachshunds London races:
Dachshunds in London
The big day, set for 22nd May at Hampstead Heath, will see London's dachshunds competing wet nose to wet nose against the green grasses of north London's big park.
Looks like...
How awful for you, it must have been a real shock.
RIP Lady.
We had to have our Old GSD X PTS on Tuesday, I think he had another siezure in the night but he couldn't get up in the morning...we thought it was the kindest thing to do for him...House sure is quiet just with one dog again...
Bernie whines 1st thing in the morning as he is in his crate & Buzz our GSD x sleeps outside next to him, but as soon as they are together all the noise stops :)
I take my old GSD X and my mini out together on the lead. As Buzz is old he just plods along in front of me but on a lose lead and Bernie just walks or uns beside him.
I prefer Bernie out in front as I can see him and don't trip over him, as he is only just getting the idea about staying away...
I have checked out your site as well. love the crate blankies and you mini wire red is gorgeous as are all the daxi's shown.
Hope your litter due in March arrive safely :)
Aww what gorgeous pictures.
Although I have had lots of dogs, Bernie is my first mini wire. I had a a smile when you mentioned Leila could be stubborn.
I am having the worst time ever getting Bernie toilet trained, at 10 months he is still hopeless if I go out..otherwise there is a glimmer...
