I am about 45 minutes to an hour from Louisville :) I live in Madison, IN. In fact, going to Louisville today for a Dr. appointment lol. I'm not driving though, my husbands mom is taking us, since I don't have my license just yet. I get that in August.

I have no idea if there's one here. Never thought to look it up. Jax just usually plays with the neighborhood dogs when we are out lol. So he gets some social interactions. Although he has never met another doxie :) mostly big dogs.

Well, I'm not in Tx right now. But I probably will be during Christmas time, or next year (depending on finacial situations) I have family there. I will be most certainly bringing Jax since I will be driving out there. Would love to do a playdate whenever I do get a chance to get down there.

Thank you all! :) He certainly a special boy to have. I figured I would have a little trouble keeping him off me. He loves to lay in my lap the moment I sit. But he learned pretty quick he can't do that right now. Now he just sits calmly (for a couple seconds anyways lol ) to be loved on.

Well would like to let my fellow doxie friends here know. The surgery was a success. Did have some complications though. Oxygen level wasn't great so they kept the breathing tube down my throat for another day (not the funnest) Had to have a ABG test 2 times before they took it out. Then...

Ive tried being tough, (nothing good here anyway, I am in a small town not near anything big except wal-mart and they dont carry many big good brands in the walmart by me) He literally would not eat the other stuff, his bowl would sit still full over a week. He mostly ate the occasional cat food...

Jax has grown up a bit :) still filling out a bit, but mostly all done growing. Jax is NEVER still for pictures lol he is a complete wiggle worm when it comes to it.

I feed Jax kibbles and bits homestyle flavor. Its the only food he will eat. Everything else, he starves himself with.

I've gone as far as holding my phone in position after he stops and just wait lol But he just looks at me as if I'm crazy :) (of course I just may be ;) )

Jax is the same. From the top, he looks super skinny. He's always been that way. I leave a small bowl down (his bowl holds about 2-2 1/2 cups of food, I do free feed) his bowl will last him almost 4 - 5 days. He gets scraps every now and then. But he's healthy at about 12-13 lbs now at 9months...
