I can't answer your question about if they are "cluster seizures" or not but my last Dachshund, Samantha, had seizures starting at 3 years old. We immediately put her on phenobarbital at a dose for her weight of 12 pounds. She lived to be 17 years and 3 weeks old and rarely had more seizures...

What is the normal food that you have been feeding her all along? Also what vet(s) have you been seeing? I am near you just outside of Middletown and can recommend a very good vet.

That is great that the "crap" food is working out good for you. I always love all the conversations about "what is the best food?" The best food is what works for the dogs situation IMO.

At this point who cares about the food quality. She likes it, is eating and seems happy. I say keep feeding it. Our 17 year old started getting dementia at a 16.5 years old. Wondered around aimlessly mostly because she had a hard time seeing.
