I have not been here is quite some time - over a year. I just got my birthday email from the group so I figured I would stop in. My pack has grown - 4 Doxies in just under 4 years. They keep me busy!

So I am now "Bill Lane aka Doxie Papa" instead of Pickles, Shelby's Rosie's and Sabrina's Papa!

So how did you end up with 4 in four years? I bet there's a story there. lol

We had Pickles for a while. After starting SJDC it was apparent almost NO one had just 1 Doxie. I wanted to get Rosie (Pickles mama) but she was not available - yet. When Rosie had another litter we got Shelby as a puppy. About a year after we got Shelby, Rosie was offered to us. Of course we said yes. Since all are smooth hair small standards (about 20 pounds + -) my wife started talking about wanting a long hair mini. I could not think of anything to get my wife for this past Christmas. Sabrina surprised my wife about a week before Christmas.

If we got Rosie when I first asked for her we MAY have only only had 2 Doxies now. BUT when I decide I like something it goes BIG! There is no such thing as too much. I was looking at a puppy last week & was told no! ->)

So from July 2009 to last Christmas we went form 0 to 4.
