Took Nola to the beach a few days ago to go for a run and work on some training. Sit, down, sit/stay, down/stay come, up, off, touch, spin, leave it, wave, high five, paw and side (basically a heel on my right side). At distances, on funny surfaces (water, sand, rock), high distractions, off...

Nola holds her ears kind of like that on occasion. Otherwise, they're down. They stayed folded like that from about 12 to 14 weeks, then folded normal. Here's her fold ears and her normal ears.

If the dog is old/injured I'm fine with it, but otherwise it's a bit stupid to me. My dog's legs work, so why not let her walk? It doesn't help the small dog image.

:) Nola's a well behaved, tiny dog who's insanely adorable. That helps a lot. :p

Aw! Merry Christmas from me and Nola:)

Nola loves the car, and is phenomenally in it. She sits in the back, all buckled up. She's been on several 14 hour car rides (from FL to VA) and was fine. Lots of exercise beforehand, and a bully stick are good for longer trips.

I love the longer legged Dachshunds!! The freakishly short legs of today's show Dachshuds makes me sick. Nola's a longer legged "old timey" Doxie.

Nola (who's 7 1/2 - 8lbs now), was 4lbs at 4 months. She finished growing at about 11 months.
