LOL too cute! My silver dapple is 17.5 years old...people still try to tell me he's some other kind of color. After 17.5 years, I think I know what color he is...but to each their own.

I think everyone goes thru an adjustment period when bringing a new pup home. So hang in there. Yes, they do sleep a lot. My husband didn't believe that the dogs would sleep all day, so he put cameras in our house (so he could watch them from work)...guess what! He found out they sleep all...

I have 150lb newfoundland, 120lb newfoundland and 75lb lab and my weiner dog is only 5.5 lb. As long as you keep a close eye on your small pups, you should be okay. I wouldn't leave them alone until you are completely sure that it is safe. But I must say that my wiener dog (17 years old)...

I've had 2 red minis, 1 chocolate mini and currently have 1 silver dapple mini (along with 1 lab and 2 newfs)... I'm so sorry to hear about you pups issues... Do you keep her in a cage when you leave the house? I have found that caging my pups helps them to feel more secure when I'm not...

Yes, my Buddy was totally paralyzed from the chest down. We did the surgery and within 3 months he started coming around. When all was said and done, I would say that he was 90% back to normal. It took a lot of therapy on our part, but it worked! Blazer has had a few "moments" of back...
