    Not used to cold weather!

Yes we have! We put winter coats on them, carry them out right away in the morning. If the snow is in the way, we remove the snow and make a path for them, which has been working. Their feet really get cold and I think that is the problem. I don't want to be out there either, especially when...

    I'll miss my little buddy

I am so sorry for your loss!! I can feel your pain and sadness, he will be just fine, I believe in it strongly. I was in this situation a year and a half ago with my little boy. I hope you have a special dream like I had about him letting you know he is ok. It really helped me cope with the loss.

    Little white solid bumps

Dachshunds are known for skin problems, they almost look like skin warts, try some neosporin on them twice a day and see if that makes a difference.

    Teaching her to play?

Augie runs up the ramp with a ball and drops the ball down the ramp and chases it, he does it at least 5 or 6 times, they also play with keys made of nylabone, water bottle toys and balls that you fill with kibble.

    Saying Goodbye...

I truly believe it was her, I also had a similar dream and he told me he was ok. He also helped me choose another pup, similar to him but a female. I still to this day get little messages from him, it comforts me because I know it's from him.

    Well I did it

Wow!! She is growing fast. Again, she is a real beauty. How are you getting along with her? What has she been up too? Is she independent? Or one that has to be sitting on you constantly???

Hello and welcome from Pennsylvania!!! We got our girl when she was six months old, she fit in perfectly right away and she was pee pad trained. She had many accidents though. We had to find her schedule, and worked on it, she is pretty good now, treats always work. Good luck, you and her will...
