That makes sense, Nola's Mom, because agility is so active..Therapy dogs are more passive in their purpose. Bree is an active little guy - but he's definitely got a laid-back personality..

I agree with WM and the others. Although my good friend down the street, dremels her standard dachshund herself, I find it's just easier at the vets or groomers (groomer we use for our pekingese). I think sometimes that we transfer our anxiety onto the dog and that compounds his fear. But...

Oh, no! My 'miniature' dachshund weighed in at the vet's last week. He weighs 11.2 at (almost) ten months old. Both his parents are true mini's. Since he's over 11 pounds, will he now be considered a 'tweenie'? Do you think he will grow more or is he pretty much at adult size?
