Thanks, Both.. Yes, Bree is very nervous in the car, but getting better. The first few times I took him, he was shaking like a leaf, literally. Association with vet, I'm sure. Taking him on short trips around town is a great idea. I really want him to enjoy traveling. And I'll try to...

Hi, All~ Was wondering how many of you are traveling or have traveled with your doxie. As a rule, are they good travelers? We're planning car trip of several hours to Tampa, Florida and of course, I want to take Bree along. What should I know before heading out?:confused: Our pekingese...

Bree is 11 months old now and I hope he stays at his current weight of 11.2 lbs. Of course I love him no matter what, but smaller makes it easier to travel with him.. Zoey is precious, BTW..

How do you guys handle that intense cold? Who can go grocery shopping or to school when it's that cold? And don't the dogs hate to go out, too?? I think I'd stay in the house all the time..:eek:

Is that like a doxie-thing? The zoomies??? Bree does that, too!! He runs at top speed from room-to-room!! Kinda makes me nervous, I don't know what he's done..!!:confused:

Well, now I don't feel so badly! Bree whined his first two nights, and we let him sleep with us. We never had dogs sleep in our bed - so it was a first for us... Now, Bree sneaks into our bed & burrows under the covers at the foot of the bed. He's actually very quiet and content. So apparently...

Vizzla, I *love* the picture of you all bundled up with your dog's 'Signature coat' on!! Wow, lots of snow! Sometimes Bree doesn't want to walk a certain way (a truck or lawnmover in his line of sight) so I do have to pull him a tiny bit - but then he gets going good again, happily checking...

Both Manu and Alf are two gorgeous doxies...Just looking at their pictures could make you fall in love with the breed. Great shots, too...:)
