Her temp is staying in the 98 range it was 98.9 then went to 98.6 her normal temp is 100.3 to 100.5. Hopefully puppies will be born before nightfall.

We did the x-ray the vet seen 5 to 6 puppies. He said probably another 2 to 3 days she'll have them :D

We have an x-ray scheduled at 10:20am hoping it turns out great and we can see all the puppies and their sizes and depending on how far down the puppies are they can give us an estimated time on when she'll go into labor

Starr can safely have her puppies from now on we are out of the danger zone. She finally made it :D

The closer to the due date is best. You will get a more accurate count and before going don't feed her make sure she goes to the bathroom. Trust me I had made that mistake plenty of times and because of it we weren't able to see both sides and would miss a puppy or 2.

There are some studies that say it is healthy to breed a dog every heat then at 5 years old get them spayed. I for one don't do it my female Raaven goes into heat every 3-4 months and plus it takes a toll on a dog's body.

Starr keeps wanting to lay on the floor which is hardwood floors probably because it is cooler. There might be 3 my Raaven's belly started to grow just like that she only had 3 puppies. Be sure to get a x-ray later in the pregnancy because with small litters they due tend to end in c-sections. Good luck hope there's at least 4 puppies in there.

Thank you it was a false alarm temp. is back at 100.3. So we might make it past Saturday or at least to Saturday

On a happier note Starr is on day 54 in 2 days she have them safely at anytime. But her due date is in 9 days. The longer she keeps them in the better but you never know when a dog is going to go into labor until they're in labor very ironic :p :)
