    Patchwork dapple

That actually seems quite common in Doubles. My boy boo and a facebook friend with a red double named Gator both have a split face... opposite sides so they'd look sooo cute together if they ever met lol

    Patchwork dapple

Upon closer inspection, I'm almost positive he's a double dapple. His blue eye has defects.

    Patchwork dapple

It doesn't really look like a piebald dapple. He looks like a double dapple to me. Because the merle gene is so random it can affect dogs in really weird ways. I'd be really curious to find out the parentage of this gorgeous pup!

    More Recalls...

I dont think P&G care at all about sanitary conditions or QC. I will never fees a food owned by them. After all the Evo, California Natural and Innova recalls, anf all of them also owned by P&G. They obviously dont care at all.

Problem bonding with my mini dach

Question, is your Mom home most of the time? My springer I had as a kid liked my Mom better even though I did everything with and for her as my Mom was home all the time when Patches was a pup.

    Hi

Welcome! I have 2 double dapple mini shorthairs and they both would weigh 30 lbs if I let them lol. Boo was fat when I adopted him but he lost all the excess weight within a year. Portion control and a low carb, high protein, high fibre diet.

    setting good habits

Oh its never too late to train a dog, and 14 weeks is still very young. Please don't get sucked into the pack leader crap... that's not necessary and it's not true anyway. Dogs thrive best when they know what's appropriate. Teach your pup what you want using praise, toys and treats. it's...
