    New Puppy need advice !

Try tying a thin piece of yarn around her neck for a bit, once she's com fortable with that braid a yarn collar for her. Then put a tiny little thin lightweight puppy collar on her. She should be fine after that.

    Not sure what to do.

I'm ggoing to really disagree with Nell here. The whole pack leader/dominance theory is a load of bunk. Dogs are not trying to take over the world and such serious corrections as scruffing can cause feat and anxiety in a dog who alrrady has anxiety enough to feel the need to protect her...

Yes, puppies go through fear stages and proper non-frightening socialization during those times is extremely important.

    When does the attachment stop!

Well... I have 2 just like that... 4.5 and 9 years old! But that has alot to do with their deafness as well as their breed... deaf dogs are almost always velcro dogs... add in that they're dachshunds and you have crazy glue dogs! !! Lol

    New member, advice needed

Food is your best friend right now. Have every person give him food, but do not let them pet him right now. If he asks for attention then fine. But if he's nervous than dont force him. Also do not hold him when he's meeting new people. He needs to be on the floor, he may be trying to...

    Long lasting chew treats?

You can fill kongs with anything you want. One of my dogs fav is canned food. But I freeze it so it lasts longer

    Long lasting chew treats?

Well filled frozen kongs are great for keeping them busy. there's also bully sticks and the like. You dont want anything too hard for little puppy teeth. Puzzle toys are great too.

    More Puppy Pictures! (:

Well I hate to disagree with your therapist, but puppies cant be moulded to fit your needs. You have to find a personality fit in a puppy same as an adult... but I won't get going on this as I am a bit passionate about it lol. I've always rescued adult or close to adult special needs pets...
