I brought home a dachshund puppy yesterday. I am having problems with my 8 year old dachshund showing aggressive behavior toward her. Anyone with similar experiences that can offer advice?

Give them time they will get used to one another and become inseparable.

Just keep your eyes on the older one because puppy will be trying out her teeth and your older one sounds a little jealous already. I'd feed them away from each other and don't try to push it yet.
This is new to both of them and it will take time. I'd give the older one a little more attention for now also.
