Joint Supplement?

I was wondering if any of you give your Doxies joint supplements? I was talking to a fellow Dox owner at a dog park and she mentioned giving her 2 year old Dox joint supplements to help prevent back problems. Think there's any truth in that? Of course, I'd talk to my vet if I was seriously considering it, but for now I'm just curious

Mine get salmon oil, primrose oil, and a joint supplement Re-Gen Max by Pet Tek. Everything I feed cant hurt, and have been shown to help, so I go with it

I give Frankie Nupro powder. He likes it better than the chewable tablet form. Plus it has MSM unlike the tablets I was giving him.

I have really no idea but have heard that uses of almond oil and coconut oil helps in preventing back problems to the dog.
