Is there a special color pattern on Otis

Otis is a chocolate and tan doxie. He is 2 years old as he has gotten older he has gotton more of these grey spots on him. He as it on his head, on the top of all 4 legs and now After I had his coat striped I have noticed more on his back. These pics are from a couple monthes ago after he was clipped by the grommer, but if you look close you can see it on his back and legs, and his head.

I would say not, he is a wirehair, and they are often grey when their hair gets long. He's very cute!
