Has anyone tried feeding "Avoderm"?

Has anyone tried feeding "Avoderm"? It was recommended to me because, well for starters I have been feeding Spekkle (our super stubborn, deaf, double dapple, longhair) "Puppy Chow"... and she was doing good, however in the last few weeks Spekkle has had some killer death breath, and I had started wondering if that could have something to do with her food ( yes as we all know "Puppy Chow" is not the "best")... anyway I was in our local petstore and they recommended "Avoderm" because as life has is I am allergic to our poor little rescued baby... and I have found that the only thing that seems to keep my allergies under control is for Spekkle to have a regular bath at least once a week.. ( which may eventually create some skin issues for poor Spekkle) I have researched the food online and it says that it is supposed to be really good for their skin and coats, but does anyone have any personal experience with this food?

This food is mainly rice, not great. It's an ok food, as it has good quality ingredients, but only one is meat, and its not enough. I would feed it within the mix of foods I feed, but I would not feed as a sole diet...

You want to help her skin and coat? feed salmon oil, or 1/2 a can of Sardines once a week. I also feed some foods that are fish based. Not all of the kinds of food I feed are grain-free, but most are (Merrick is the only food not totally grain-free that I feed.)

I feed differently than most people do. I have 5 or 6 types of dog food around at any given time, and they get a different kind every meal... Makes it more interesting for them, and I avoid sensitivities due to never having anything different.

My dogs get canned mixed with dry 2 or 3 days a week, they get a different kind of food every meal, an egg once a week, sardines once a week, raw chicken,oxtails, tripe or pork once a week, and fruit and veggies whenever. I have 5 very healthy dogs, who are not overweight and who have beautiful skin and coats (even Mouse who had some skin issues) and who really LOVE their food! LOL
