The Dachshund is the official dog of Key West and every year on the 31st of December the Dachshund is celebrated with a parade down the infamous Duval Street with displays, food, games and most importantly drink stations for dachshund and those owned by this preciously precocious breed.
Hundreds, if not thousands, of Dachshunds and owners will be present and this is known World wide as one of the largest celebrations of this 'half a dog tall and 2 dogs long' breed.
