I am sorry to post this on here but my child's therapy dog (my son has a sensory disorder and his daschund/terrier mix is his everything). His dog got off his harness and leash and got hit by the car. My son is extremely upset. A go fund me account has been set up to hopefully get the funds needed. He was not severely hurt but did suffer a broken leg. We are on a fixed income and had to tap into bill money just to pay for the emergency vet service. He is going to need more services for the next 6 weeks. I don't ever beg for money, it is embarassing, but my son is so upset and his therapy dog has become a family member to the both of us.
