back legs

hi

we bought a miniature longhair dachshund just before Christmas and we have recently noticed that she's very lazy on her back legs and she walk slightly on the side of them , sometimes they look a little bowed (very slightly but not sure), is this normal for the breed, she has no problems with walking or running. is it because she still a puppy?

not sure if we are looking in to it to much or seeing something that isn't there.

any advice would be great

Does she wobble or fall to the side on her back legs at all? I had a puppy before that would wobble off to the side and walk kind of sideways. He would also fall over and just generally act like his back legs were too weak. Turns out it was growing pains and his legs being a bit weak from growing too quickly. We gave him a higher protein food and made him run around more/took him for walks up hills to strengthen them.

It could be weak back legs, just a puppy still learning to walk properly, or something more serious. Might be good to have a vet check her just in case.
