Hello, I’m the proud “dad” of the most adorable girl - Mabel , she was born March 1 - miniature smooth piebald .. is that correct?
This is the first dachshund I’ve ever owned. My sister and brother in law have 2. Rosco & Lu Lu.. I fell in love with her several years ago. She lost her leg function, we were taking extra care with her & I happened to be watching her this particular day. Helping her outside to go pee in the snow and she regained her legs.. it was incredible.. we are still buddies today.
Now I finally found one of my own. Or I should say she found me. Long story, anyway things are going great. Sometimes - I have a million questions actually. It’s 345am and this is the only time I have to write!!
I appreciate the forum. I’m looking forward to check it out. I just registered and that’s us.
Oh, I’m 49 - single - living in southern Oregon, moving back to PDX/Couv area. I am retired military/100% SC . I am a licensed Peer Support Specialist for the Veterans Administration
