My old partner has had back problems for years as well as most Dachshunds. But now... His 3rd spell... Legs started working, is very chipper... Was getting better and seems better... Eats.. Plays, uses the bathroom regularly... His butt stinks... I thought... Anal glands... Left that alone... Ive had many dogs... Understand it... Now... He pees... Little bit here little bit there uncontrollably after he has urinated outside.... Trys to lick that and anal leakage up. Is this to worry about? Or can I help it? He has a lil back brace... And it helps. And isnt uncomfortable. But being a pack animal... Doesnt want the pack to know there is something goin on. But at the same time does not leave my side... Which dogs do at death. He is active... Makes me think he is alright... But has issues... Is it nerve stuff? Or what?
