Excessive Bum Licking

Hi All,

Mainly on a morning an evening Mable spends a long time licking her backside, she has been to the vets before and they said she had an infection in her anal gland, but it seems to keep recurring. We have been to the vets 3-4 times now and are getting nowhere.
I have tried feeding her different biscuits, and even tried her with raw food.

she seems happy, could it be something else we are all missing???

shes 15 months old, and had her 2nd heat.

1. Try a grain free dog food. She may have allergies.
2. Ask your vet to show you how to express anal glands.
3. Clean licked area frequently with a warm, wet paper towel and rinse well.
4. Get a second medical opinion.
